January 18, 2010There are two releases on the horizon! First, there’s the mass market reissue of BREAK OF DAWN, Book Three on January 26, 2010.
But for those of you waiting for a conclusion to the London trilogy, you don’t have long…. DEEP IN THE WOODS, Book Six, is coming your way on March 2, 2010!
You want a hint about what’s going to happen in this climax for the London Underground trilogy? Here you go—and, remember, if you want to go in to book six unspoiled, please skip the rest of this paragraph…. (HINT: Who was the mysterious man Eva met at the wine bar the night she ran away from headquarters after she offered Frank her blood? Was he a kind gent who offered her a handkerchief to dry her tears? Or do you think he was someone…or something…else altogether?) Have your guesses confirmed on March 2. But you can be spoiled even more on www.crystal-green.com as well as www.vampirebabylon.com because I’ve got an excerpt from DEEP IN THE WOODS posted right now! I’ve been getting questions about whether or not Vampire Babylon will go beyond these six books. The answer is…I don’t have an answer at the moment. Ace is currently putting their energies into launching my second urban fantasy series, Bloodlands, which will be released sometime in 2011 during three consecutive months. This means that they’ll be deciding in the near future about further Vampire Babylon books. Personally, I’d love to do more, and if you happen to read the VB short story that’ll be included in an occult detectives anthology that’ll be released this fall (more information to come!), you’ll see that there’s still a lot to explore when it comes to Dawn Madison and the team. Fingers crossed though. As far as the Bloodlands series goes, I just turned in the second book, which I’m calling (NO) SPILL BLOOD. We’ll see if the title changes. I won’t be writing the third book until the middle of the year, which gives me time to get in some Special Editions and Blazes. (My next Special will be out in October, with a new miniseries to follow next year. I’m writing the next Blaze later this year.) But here’s a tidbit about (NO) SPILL BLOOD: Those of you who’ve been reading the Vampire Babylon books will find a character cameo from someone who seems to be a fan favorite….
