Constructed during the early 1800s. Here, poor farmers would gather to worship and enjoy social functions, but certain tragedies closed the House’s doors for good. One such legend holds that two star-crossed lovers used the building for rendezvousing, and they were caught by the woman’s fiance, a powerful man who never suffered for his crimes. Some say that the victims’ spirits won’t rest until the murderer is brought to justice. Also noteworthy: a one-eyed caretaker no one has ever seen, but several trespassing teens swear that they’ve heard shotgun bullets roaring past their heads.
